Conference on Research Ethics in Singapore 2017

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2nd annual CENTRES conference on research ethics. The conference will be held on January 12 & 13, 2017 at the Kent Ridge Guild House, National University of Singapore.  This year’s theme is Responsible Research Governance: Exploring the Relationship between Ethics and Oversight.
The sub-themes are:
(a)  Big Data and Consent
(b)  Exploitation
(c)  Revised Clinical Trials Regulations
Participants at the conference can expect to learn from international experts at the plenary sessions, and in the interactive roundtable sessions. They will engage with experts and fellow participants in exploring cases and concepts. The conference will enhance participants’ proficiency in conducting ethical analysis and deepen their knowledge of ethical principles and considerations by tapping into the knowledge and expertise of their colleagues in research ethics education, skills and responsibilities. This conference is targeted at institutional review board (IRB) members, IRB administrators and researchers in Singapore and other healthcare professionals interested in research ethics governance skills and responsibilities.
